Floor Staff/Cast Member Regal Cinemas in Poughkeepsie is seeking part-time cast members passionate about movies and dedicated to providing exceptional service and a memorable experience to guests.
What You Will Do
Floor Staff/Cast Members are responsible for various tasks including ticket selling, concession operations, and ushering. Availability to work weekends is mandatory, while weekday openings/closings are preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Box Office: Operating POS system, handling cash drawer, credit cards, and tickets, promoting Regal Crown Club, ensuring compliance with MPAA ratings.
Concession: Operating POS system, managing stock inventory, promoting Regal Crown Club, operating and cleaning concession equipment, up-selling, complying with food safety laws.
Usher: Tearing tickets, inspecting bags, managing crowds, enforcing MPAA ratings, conducting inspections, reporting issues, assisting with opening/closing duties.
Qualifications
Completion of cast certification program and box office cashier certification required.
Legal age to sell or serve alcohol if applicable, and completion of required training.
Excellent communication, math, reasoning, and physical abilities.
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 60 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
