About the role

Regal Cinemas Elmwood Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking part‑time cast members who are passionate about movies and want to help deliver excellent service, cleanliness, and a great movie‑going experience in a diverse, fun, energetic, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Box Office: operate POS system, handle cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons; upsell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX); promote Regal Crown Club; ensure tickets sold per MPAA rating and company policy; respond to guest phone calls and questions per guest service philosophy.
• Concession: operate POS system, handle cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons; manage concession stock inventory; promote Regal Crown Club; operate, prepare and clean concession equipment; upsell/suggestive sell; comply with local, state and federal food safety laws; follow break/meal period laws; maintain current alcohol certification/training where applicable; if selling/serving alcohol, must be of legal age per state/local law; complete required training on sexual harassment and discrimination.
• Usher: tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, direct patrons to auditoriums; inspect backpacks/packages when applicable; manage crowd control and assist guests with seating; enforce MPAA rating system; conduct in‑theatre inspections for picture/sound quality, watch for film/content theft, help maintain safe environment; report problems/discrepancies to management; perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed; clean auditoriums after shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby, hallways and other outside areas; monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment; assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Represent Regal consistent with mission and policies: maintain regular and consistent attendance, handle emergency situations when called upon, perform general cleaning duties, and comply with company dress code.

Requirements

• Availability to work weekends is required.
• Weekday opening and/or closing availability is preferred.
• Flexible scheduling is offered.
