Refuse Worker - Grounds

About the Role

Culver Academies is seeking a Refuse Worker to support our campus operations. The role involves driving an assigned route to remove garbage and recyclables from various campus locations, disposing of or recycling materials at designated sites, and adhering to environmentally safe disposal and recycling practices. On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive assigned route to collect garbage and recyclables from campus locations.
• Dispose of or recycle collected materials at the appropriate disposal site.
• Follow environmentally safe practices for waste disposal and recycling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana Driver’s License with a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Self-discipline and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
