Pay

The estimated pay for this position is $22.6386 to $30.4244. This reflects only a portion of the total compensation package for this position. Additional compensation may be available for this role through differentials, incentives, and bonuses.

Schedule

One-year experience as a Pharmacy Technician or 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant handling medication/physician orders in a busy medical environment is required.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted registration by the California Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Possession and maintenance of a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) card.

Requirements

• Knowledge Of A variety of techniques, methods, procedures, and equipment utilized in patient care; medical terminology and metric measurement.
• Ability To Utilize patient care techniques, methods, procedures, and equipment; maintain effective relations with medical staff and the public; follow written and oral instructions; react competently in emergency situations; take patients vitals; read and record medical terminology and metric measurement; maintain medical records.
• Read and understand prescriptions and chart orders for medications and related information; perform mathematical calculations for reducing bulk medications; operate a computer; work with health professionals and patients; understand and follow oral and written instructions.
