Referral Coordinator - Closes 10/30/2026

Closing Date Position closes at 5:00 pm Mountain Standard Time on 10/30/2026. Position Summary Referral Coordinator maintains ongoing tracking of patient referrals for in-house/ outsourced services, ensures that referrals are addressed in a timely manner, keeps physicians updated with accurate documentation in system, sets up appointments, maintains insurance authorization, ensures complete and accurate registration, demographics, and current patient insurance. This position is a grade N9; pay is $21.48/hour. Education And Experience Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent Must have 2 years of administrative/clerical experience. Must have work experience in a medical office or similar setting. Must have knowledge of commonly used medical terminology, medical symbols and abbreviations, names of medical tests, etc. Must have advanced computer experience in software programs including Microsoft Word and Excel. Must pass a thorough criminal history background check including fingerprints. Preferred Qualifications Previous medical experience or medical training. Prior experience in patient referral process, including follow-up, scheduling, and prior authorizations. Computer experience in electronic health records, RPMS. Prior work experience with Native American Indian Tribes.
