The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is seeking a Reemployment Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) in the RESEA department based in the Gulf Coast area. This position is open to Texas residents only.

About the Role

This position performs highly complex consultative services and technical assistance work, working under limited supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent judgment. The successful candidate will serve as a local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training, becoming a subject matter expert on local labor market, community support services, and the RESEA program.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the local RESEA resource to Board staff and service providers on service delivery, outreach, and training.
  • Become a subject matter expert on local labor market, local community support services, and the RESEA program.
  • Conduct touchpoints with RESEA customers utilizing professional etiquette and demeanor to validate compliance with individual reemployment plans and other RESEA requirements.
  • Conduct research, program assessment, preliminary investigations, and prepare reports.
  • Support and present at RESEA conferences and conduct classroom training and webinars.
  • Aid in developing program policies, procedures, standards, and manuals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
  • Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Knowledge of RESEA or other workforce program services, procedures, and policies.
  • Intermediate PowerPoint, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience writing site observation and operations reports.
  • Great listening skills, and professional, pleasant, and respectful telephone etiquette.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
