Reefer Technician - Truck Fleet

Role Overview: The Reefer Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration units on trucks, trailers, and shipping containers to ensure optimal operation within required temperature ranges. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose control board failures, replace compressors, repair evaporator and condenser systems, perform advanced diagnostics, replace sensors and electrical components, analyze refrigeration performance, oversee major repairs, assist with warranty and fleet maintenance, and maintain detailed service records.Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED, 608 certification, EPA certification, valid driver’s license, 7+ years of related experience, and essential mechanic tools. Must complete SpartanNash safe driving training and be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work in variable environments, and handle physical demands including standing, walking, crouching, and working in high-noise settings. Additional Details: Physical stamina, flexibility for various shifts, and travel as needed are required.
