Redemption Center Worker

TOMRA North America is a leading international reverse vending and recycling company dedicated to transformation and a sustainable future. This part‑time position is located at the Redemption Center in Newark, NY.

Pay

Starting at $16.00 per hour plus generous cash tips.

Schedule

20 hours per week, Friday – Monday, 12 pm – 5 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with recycling of bottles, cans, and plastic beverage containers.
• Count beverage containers manually or using technology.
• Use a cash register to complete customer transactions.
• Process and store bottles and cans in an orderly fashion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in all areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lb.
• Weekend availability.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Experience in a customer‑service role.
• Excellent customer‑service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
