Responsibilities
- Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
- Set place settings on table, applying knowledge of different eating utensils as well as items included in a fine dining table setting.
- Clear tables, and clean properly with sanitized towel before resetting.
- Wipe down chairs and booth seats.
- Deliver dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware to dish area.
- Scrape plates, and load glasses and flatware in racks for washing.
- Set up and clean bus stations.
- Pick up clean linen napkins from the laundry room.
- Drop off soiled linen napkins to laundry room.
- Restock water glasses, tea cups, sauce dishes, coffee cups, and saucers.
- Maintain proper sanitation buckets in bus stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bus cart.
- Sweep under tables with broom and dust pan when needed.
- Prepare and serve beverages for Guests such as coffee, tea, soda, and water.
- Clean water spills, food stains, and dirt and debris from tables and floors.
- Follow established side work and other duties assigned by management.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Experience in a restaurant service traditional Chinese cuisine is preferred.
- Must be able to maintain an organized workspace and understand and implement directions given by multiple Team Members simultaneously.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.
Physical Requirements
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
- Must be able to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Requires ability to bend and reach for supplies and equipment and push carts.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and reach to a height of 6 feet with or without assistance.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
Work Conditions
- Work is typically conducted in a restaurant environment, including a kitchen environment which may be hot, cold, and noisy.
- Work will also be conducted in an area adjacent to the casino in the presence of secondhand smoke.
- Team Members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp.
- These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area.
- Frequent contact with fellow Team Members and Guests is standard.
