About the role
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment and sorting various material types under the guidance of line-leads.Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment by following the company's safety guidelines.
- Follow Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
- Sort various material types as directed by line-leads.
- Maintain proper hand speeds for picking and sorting materials.
- Keep workspace clear from trip and fall hazards.
- Absorb and communicate material changes to supervisors and co-workers.
- Perform other duties as required or requested by supervisors or managers.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.
- Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally move/lift up to 50 pounds manually.
- Frequently move/lift up to 25 pounds manually.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills.

Pay
- 1st Shift: $18/hour
- 2nd Shift: $19/hour
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday (6am - 4:30pm), Saturday (6am - 2:30pm)
- 2nd Shift: Monday (4pm - 2:30am), Tuesday - Friday (4pm - 12:30am)
Physical/Mental Demands

Working Conditions
- Work in indoor office environment 50% of the time.
- Noise level is usually moderate.
- Occasionally exposed to loud noise, humidity, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles.
- Occasionally work in high precarious places.
- Work in motor vehicle traffic conditions occasionally.
