Recycling Lead
About the role
Partner with Maintenance/Recycle Manager on all challenges, decisions, adjustments or changes to be made to ensure that all aspects of the Bob’s business plan are considered and followed.
Thoroughly understand Bob’s Discount Furniture Company & Department Policies and procedures.
Mentor, guide, coach and train other Recycling employees in recycling materials, safe cleaning and material handling practices.
Provide updates to Managers throughout the day on all day-to-day activities and progress of associates.
Sort materials, operate forklift, and clamp trucks.
Delegate tasks and follow up.
All other duties as assigned.

- Communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Warehouse/mechanical experience.
- Must be able to operate bailers and compressed recyclables.
- Must be able to operate forklift and clamp truck.
- Excellent communication and verbal skills.
- Strong leadership & organizational skills.
- Able to operate and adjust to change in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to organize and prioritize the workload daily.
Requirements

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob’s.
Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Able to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
Able to stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
Sitting: 5%
Desk or phone work: 5%
Skills
Strong leadership skills and general knowledge of supply chain operations.
Ability to operate a variety of equipment including: bailers, forklift and clamp truck.
Excellent communication skills.
Adapt, organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced work environment.

Pay
Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc.
