Recycle Attendant

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One year of experience working at a solid waste facility
• Any combination of education and experience

Additional Qualifications

• General knowledge of solid waste procedures and operations
• Knowledge of recycling regulations at the local, county, and state level
• Ability to understand and carry out Solid Waste Division regulations
• Ability to perform moderate manual labor under varying weather conditions
• Ability to observe required safety precautions
• Ability to deal effectively with the general public
• Communication skills to deal with public and regulatory representatives for various recycling programs
