Recruitment Coordinator (Part Time)- Pocatello/Idaho Falls
About the role
The College of Professional Programs, Family Resource and Training Center (FRTC) at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the position of Part-Time Recruitment & Retention Coordinator (RC).
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Regional Recruitment Plan.
- Coordinate and implement recruitment and retention events.
- Supervise regional Resource Peer Mentors.
- Develop and manage the Diligent Recruitment Plan.
- Manage community-based Recruitment Advisory Councils (RAC).
- Collaborate with regional child welfare leadership teams.
- Ensure all activities align with data collection and program evaluation needs.
- Regularly travel to fulfill job duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, Child Development, Education, or related field.
- At least two (2) years of professional experience working within the child welfare system.
- At least 2 years professional experience in program/project management, recruitment, or related field, including supervision of staff.
- At least 2 years professional experience working within the child welfare system.
- Complete all additional mandatory training within 6 months of hire (Preservice, TOT, TBRI).
- Three years’ professional experience in social services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care.
- Knowledge of the complex needs of children and families involved in foster care.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and/or supervisory skills.
- Strong computer skills including use of programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint.
- Knowledge of creative design/marketing.
- Experience with Database management.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive to the needs including universal access of our students, faculty staff and the public.

Pay
The salary range for this 50% position is $27,785.50 – $29,000. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
Schedule
Part-time hours Monday-Friday, between 8am-5pm, with occasional evenings and weekends.
