Recruitment Coordinator (Part Time)
About the role
The College of Professional Programs, Family Resource and Training Center (FRTC) at Eastern Washington University is currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Part-Time Recruitment & Retention Coordinator (RC) for the Fostering Idaho Regional Recruitment and Retention. Under direction of the FRTC Director and in partnership with statewide regional contractors, the Recruitment & Retention Coordinator will serve as a leader to provide coordination and sustainability of the regional recruitment of foster families. They will have regional responsibility for the Statewide Diligent Recruitment plan, regional recruitment plan and Resource Peer Mentor program and other retention activities and efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate activities of recruitment and retention of qualified foster families.
- Develop, coordinate, partner recruitment, logistics, agenda topics, and final reports for community-based Recruitment Advisory Councils (RAC).
- Supervise regional Resource Peer Mentors.
- Record all activities in alignment with data collection and program evaluation needs.
- Regular travel to fulfill job duties, including multi-day/overnight trips.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, Child Development, Education, or related field.
- At least two (2) years professional experience working within the child welfare system OR at least 2 years professional experience in program/project management, recruitment or related field, including skills in program/project management, recruitment, and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with data collection and program evaluation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of child welfare systems and policies.
- Experience with event planning and logistics.

Pay
The salary range for this 50% position is $27,785.50 – $29,000. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills.
Schedule
This is a part-time position with 50% time commitment.
