About the role
Flagger Force is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to attract and hire top talent for field positions. This role supports assigned market requisitions and hiring events while consistently meeting daily, weekly, and monthly crew member hiring performance metrics across Flagger Force markets.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including hiring stages, candidate engagement, notes, and application demographic updates.
- Respond to candidate inquiries by returning text messages, voicemails, and assigned emails from the shared inbox within established timelines.
- Review application records and conduct phone interviews with Crew Member candidates to assess qualifications and job suitability.
- Record thorough and complete information on interview form as relayed by candidate.
- Launch pre-hire onboarding paperwork for Crew Member hires and validate accuracy and completion prior to scheduling onboarding.
- Deliver timely and accurate new hire orientation projections, attendance updates, and hire numbers to Recruitment and Field leadership teams.
- Schedule qualified Crew Member candidates for upcoming New Hire Orientations (NHOs).
- Support the Crew Member Training (CMT) team during weekly NHOs and process new hires.
- Represent Flagger Force at community events, job fairs, and local hiring events to promote the company brand and career opportunities.
- Review background check submissions to determine eligibility and manage the pre-adverse action process.
- Conduct and maintain I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal employment regulations.
- Maximize daily call flow by managing conversations, balancing call queue priorities, and applying effective time management strategies to daily tasks.
- Participate in meetings with leadership to review recruiting resources, strategies, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with all team members as needed to promote team performance and culture.
- Stay current on departmental and company policy and procedural changes.
- Perform special projects as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Proficient computer literacy.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
- 1+ year of customer service experience in an office or call center environment.
- 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc).
- Steel-toed boots or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Attend and successfully complete Crew Member Training (CMT) and apply knowledge to job.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred Experience
- Associate's degree.
- Experience in agency or high-volume recruiting.
- Previous experience working with iCIMS (Applicant Tracking System).
