About the role
The Recruiting Sales Manager role is based in flexible territory with up to 60% travel. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of independent contracted representatives, fostering their professional growth and impacting the lives of WoodmenLife members.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve annual recruiting goals for the territory
- Inspire your team to excel through coaching, training, and joint sales activities
- Recruit top talent by presenting WoodmenLife’s career opportunities and managing a pipeline of potential recruits
- Oversee representative performance by providing motivation, supervision, and continuous feedback
- Act as a liaison between representatives and the Regional/Home Office to resolve challenges and drive operational success
- Engage in community and fraternal activities to promote WoodmenLife’s mission and values
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 12 months of experience as a WoodmenLife representative (or equivalent)
- FIC designation (or willingness to obtain) and compliance with state licensing and continuing education requirements
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and build relationships
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, paired with enthusiasm and energy to lead by example
- Self-motivation to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule involving up to 60% travel
- Strong character and integrity, demonstrating ethical professionalism at all times
Qualifications
