Recruiting Manager - Year Round - Full Time
About the role
The Recruiting Manager at Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating strategies to recruit, hire, and retain high-quality employees across various levels of the organization. This role involves managing the recruiting team, overseeing recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and coach the recruiting team consisting of Recruitment Coordinators and Admin Assistants.
- Build and implement recruitment strategies that include diversity of hires, internship programs, and specialized schools.
- Maintain and develop weekly, monthly, and yearly recruiting metrics and reports.
- Partner with Marketing to manage and update Steamboat social media sites with recruiting materials and updates.
- Support and guide hiring managers through the recruitment process.
- Manage the full-cycle international employee process from recruiting to off-boarding, including visa processing.
- Organize and coordinate on and off-site job fairs.
- Administer the employee referral program.
- Research recruiting trends and stay updated on competitor activity.
- Prepare year-round and flex-year-round employment offers and support managers in making other employment offers.
- Provide training and share best practices for hiring managers to "Hire for Success."
Requirements
- Three years of experience working in the Recruiting or Human Resources field.
- Three years' experience in office administration, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Two years of experience in international visa hiring and management highly preferred.
- Ability to problem-solve in a collaborative, highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates, and co-workers, at times in stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office or equivalent, the internet, desktop publishing, and database management software programs.
- Knowledgeable in HRIS and ATS systems.
- Strong knowledge and ability in social media best practices.
- Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a related field, preferred.
- Must be able to sit and operate a computer for extended periods.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds of recruiting materials on an occasional basis.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be able to speak clearly and professionally in English.
- Must meet SSRC minimum driving standards and have a current Driver's license; a successful motor vehicle record background check is required.
- Must have a passport and be able to travel internationally.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $78,000 per year, with actual salaries varying based on a range of factors including experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.
