Starting salary: $45,000 with access to a company-sponsored benefits plan covering health, dental, vision, life, and other insurance benefits. PTO accrues at 1 day per month, plus growth and WOTC bonuses, and a phone stipend.
About the role
Cornerstone Caregiving helps seniors age in place with dignity. As a leading nationwide home care organization serving over 300 locations, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care. The Recruiting Manager will work directly with the Scheduling Manager and report to the Operating Director, focusing on recruiting, administrative, and operational support for the office while sharing on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage caregivers, including hiring and terminating as needed.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard caregivers weekly.
- Manage after-hours calls from clients, caregivers, and referral sources, addressing urgent schedule changes.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the Operating Director.
- Support in-home assessments, conduct intakes, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure high-quality client service from phone calls to in-home consultations to maximize retention.
- Adhere to Cornerstone Caregiving’s operating standards and state-specific compliance requirements.
- Limited travel for sales, marketing, and client care needs; reliable transportation required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (may substitute with a combination of education and experience).
- Minimum of two years’ experience managing sales, customer service, and human resources functions in an office setting.
- Valid driver’s license and state-required proof of auto insurance.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with technology and direct recruitment of frontline employees.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Meet, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Physical Requirements
The role may involve:
- Sitting and standing for long periods; bending and stooping.
- Lifting up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 50+ lbs. occasionally.
- Extended computer use: typing, monitor/TV screen exposure.
- Stress on back, wrists, and arms.
Work Environment
- Office: High-paced with continuous phone use, noise, and interactions with employees, referral sources, and clients. Possible exposure to prescription drugs, bodily fluids, and small appliances.
- Client’s Environment: Unknown settings with potential exposure to bodily fluids, germs, extreme temperatures, traffic, inclement weather, and lifting clients (50+ lbs.) as needed per care plan.
