About the Role
The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for supporting all administrative recruiting processes. This role will ensure the recruiting process is run as consistently and efficiently as possible while creating a high-touch experience for candidates and managers. The Recruiting Coordinator identifies talent through conversation with both passive and active candidates, conducts interviews, and converts candidates to new team members by promoting our company culture and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full-cycle recruitment policies and procedures are followed by leaders and hiring managers to avoid gaps or delays in the talent acquisition process.
- Assist in the review and screening of applications and resumes.
- Schedule interviews and provide clear communications to candidates to minimize no-shows.
- Facilitate exceptional partnerships with hiring managers, prioritizing timely follow-up on resume feedback and post-interview feedback.
- Ensure data integrity for all applicants and update candidate statuses in the applicant tracking system as needed, including relevant interview details.
- Maintain records of all staffing requisitions throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Support and attend recruiting events, job fairs, and recruiting-related efforts.
- Liaise with hiring managers within the organization to drive and maintain hiring processes.
- Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email, including the offer process.
- Manage all changes within the applicant tracking system: adding new requisitions, closing requisitions, updating the number of openings available per shift as needed or daily.
- Coordinate new hire orientation activities including scheduling, background checks, IT systems setup, and other preparation activities.
- Assist in other recruiting activities as needed.
- Support other HR specialties when time permits or demands of the business require.
Requirements
- A related degree and/or 3+ years of experience in an HR Department within a manufacturing environment focused on recruitment.
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Highly professional, with excellent phone skills.
Pay
Hourly pay: $26.00 - $32.00
