With over 520 packages delivered to 33 countries, TAS operates five ISO 9001 certified manufacturing facilities in Houston and serves a rapidly growing data center market.
Responsibilities
- Updates job descriptions and ensures accurate storage on the HR drive.
- Creates and opens job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensures job postings and requisitions are accurate and up to date.
- Reviews candidate resumes submitted by agencies within the ATS and forwards them to hiring managers for evaluation.
- Coordinates interview scheduling through the ATS.
- Maintains consistent communication with staffing agencies and hiring managers regarding candidate status, interview updates, and hiring decisions.
- Coordinates weld testing for qualified welders advancing in the hiring process.
- Tracks candidate progress throughout the hiring process to ensure timely updates within the ATS.
- Assists with preparing for and scheduling contractor orientations.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Travels to other TAS facilities within the Houston area to assist with job fairs and internal communications.
- Posts job openings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social media platforms to recruit qualified candidates.
- Serves as backup for the Receptionist when needed.
- Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Two or more years’ experience in a recruiting support role or a degree in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proven ability to handle and work with confidential information.
- Previous experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Associate degree in business is a plus.

Work Environment
- Position is 80% to 95% desk-based, working with a computer.
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
- Performs physical activities including use of fingers, sitting, stooping, bending, crouching, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception, and field of vision necessary for preparing and analyzing data, operating a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions.
- Tobacco-free workplace policy: No smoking or use of tobacco/nicotine products on TAS premises, while conducting TAS business off-premises, or during working hours.
