Recruiting Coordinator

About the role

Soni is partnering with a software/privacy organization to support the recruitment of talent nationwide, and locally in the New York City market. The Recruiting Coordinator will support the organization's talent team in a fast-paced, onsite environment, helping drive a seamless hiring process. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on recruiting experience while partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Strong performance may lead to an extension or permanent employment opportunity based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple time zones, managing calendars for candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely, professional, and candidate-focused communication.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and hiring workflow updates within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Support onsite interview logistics, onboarding handoffs, and recruiting-related projects while helping keep hiring pipelines on track.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR, administrative support, or a fast-paced operational environment; internship experience is welcome.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service and candidate-first mindset.
• Proficiency with calendar management tools and the ability to quickly learn new systems; ATS experience and exposure to high-volume hiring environments are a plus.

Pay

$27 - $33 per hour. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
