The Recruiting & Retention Department at Ogletree Deakins is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator or Senior Recruiting Coordinator to support Associate and Counsel searches in the California offices. Key responsibilities include coordinating interviews, screening applications, sourcing candidates, and supporting firm-wide recruiting initiatives.
- Coordinate interviews, screen applications, and prepare job advertisements
- Support ongoing check-in calls with current attorneys to enhance engagement and retention
- Respond to and route candidate inquiries professionally
- Maintain recruitment metrics and track diversity data
- Support administrative and strategic initiatives as needed
Essential qualifications include 2+ years of recruiting experience, an associates or bachelor’s degree, advanced Microsoft applications proficiency, strong prioritization skills, and some experience in HR or LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or community college
- 2+ years of recruiting experience
- Advanced experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Some experience in HR or LinkedIn Recruiter
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or VI
- Law firm experience is preferred but not required
The wage range for this position is between $55,500 and $90,200, with actual pay adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
