Recruiting Coordinator

We’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to help keep our hiring process organized and moving. You’ll schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, keep our recruiting systems up to date, and make sure candidates have a great experience throughout the process. This is a good fit for someone who’s organized, responsive, and comfortable figuring things out in a fast-moving startup. You’ll work closely with recruiters, sourcers, hiring managers, and interviewers, and have a real opportunity to help improve how we recruit as MatX grows. What You’ll Do Here Own interview scheduling and coordination across candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teamsCoordinate virtual and onsite interview loops across multiple teams, interviewers, and time zonesServe as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, providing timely, clear, and thoughtful communicationEnsure a world class, professional, and highly responsive journey for every candidateManage last minute scheduling changes, interviewer conflicts, cancellations, and reschedules while keeping the interview process movingTrack outstanding interview feedback and follow up with interview teams to keep hiring decisions movingSupport recruiting events, projects, and other talent initiatives as needed Who You Are 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a similar role, ideally in a startup or high growth environmentPassionate about candidate experience and committed to providing every candidate with a thoughtful, responsive, and professional experienceExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple candidates and interview processes simultaneouslyComfortable handling uncertainty, changing priorities, and last minute scheduling challengesHighly organized with strong attention to detailProactive and comfortable taking ownership without waiting for step by step directionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComfortable working with candidates, recruiters, engineers, hiring managers, and senior leadershipStrong working knowledge of Ashby or a similar applicant tracking systemAble to handle sensitive and confidential candidate information with discretionThis is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week on Tuesday through Thursday Bonus Points If You Have Experience coordinating technical or engineering interviewsExperience supporting recruiting teams at an early stage or rapidly growing companyExperience coordinating onsite interview loops and candidate travelExperience supporting hardware, AI, semiconductor, or deep tech recruitingExperience improving recruiting processes, systems, templates, or workflowsStrong interest in AI technologies and trends, with a desire to continue learning in this domain What We Offer Time off: 4 weeks PTO (accrued) + 12 company Holidays + up to 3 weeks remote workHealth: Company-subsidized Medical (Kaiser or Anthem) for employees & dependents, Guardian Dental and Vision insurances for employee & dependents, and life insurance (employee only), plus HSA and FSA offerings via Lively.
