Recruiting Assistant
Position Summary
The Recruiting and Retention department at our firm is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join the Talent team. This position supports full-cycle recruiting efforts for lateral attorneys and business professionals firm-wide. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Recruiting (Attorney Recruiting), the Recruiting Assistant will provide administrative support and collaborate with the team.
Essential Functions
- Aiding with daily administrative tasks such as managing resumes, ATS profiles, job postings, interview scheduling, email correspondence, etc.
- Maintaining and processing referrals, documenting necessary information, and coordinating with payroll for referral payments.
- Tracking and updating various reports and surveys related to applicant tracking.
- Coordinating with Office Administrators to draft and post job ads.
- Assisting with projects using Microsoft applications like Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools as needed.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1+ years of professional administrative support experience
- Law firm experience preferred
- Associates or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented and fast-paced environment experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good judgment, confidentiality, and discretion
- Proactive problem-solving and planning
- Professional and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in HR or recruiting
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Wage Transparency
In accordance with California’s amended labor code, the expected salary range for this California position is between $44,400 and $60,200. In Illinois, the range is between $44,400 and $60,200. In Colorado, the range is between $41,600 and $53,900. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
