Responsibilities
- Aids in the delivery of recruiting services and programs, including the identification and recruitment of individuals to fill open positions.
- Assists the manager with recruitment reporting and project tracking.
- Maintains a calendar or project starts and new hires.
- Supports remote based recruiters in conducting candidate due diligence.
- Acts as a comprehensive support function to the Sr. Director for ad-hoc tasks and future organizational projects.
- Maintains applicant/employee confidentiality in accordance with data protection policy and procedure.
- Supports the recruiting process and the successful staffing of positions, including external hiring, internal transfer, and contract/temporary resourcing.
- Provides operational support and focus relative to the recruitment function.
- Maintains reports of recruiting activity, including projections of future activity.
- Fully utilizes and maintains internal candidate, applicant, and new hire databases.
- Enters open requisition and candidate information into applicant database in an accurate and timely manner.
- May conduct in-person evaluation interviews for candidates.
- Implements effective practices for checking references of potential employees, including degree verification and approved background checks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required or related professional experience in an office environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and judgement to effectively manage simultaneous priorities.
- Effective relationship-building skills; interpersonal skills; track record of consistent leadership.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation).
- Maintains high quality standards and attention to detail in work product.
- Aptitude to learn quickly and adapt to multiple subject matters.
- Ability to perform in a self-directed manner, and to multi-task.
- Ability to work well both independently and to work collaboratively in teams.
- A high standard for personal conduct, work ownership, and accountability.
- Ability to work overtime with little notice.
