Responsible
- Onboard new hires and transfers.
- Coordinate and facilitate timely pre-screening activities with external vendors for job applicants, including health screenings, drug screenings, and background checks.
- Review pre-screening results to ensure compliance with agency requirements.
- Partner with the recruiting and human resource team to provide support to the talent acquisition process and determine appropriate course of action, referral, and/or response when issues arise.
- Align new employees with direct supervisors and their teams and serve as the main point of contact throughout the onboarding process.
- Schedule and conduct onboarding meetings with candidates to complete and process all required paperwork and documentation.
- Ensure the timely transmission and communication of candidate information and files to the appropriate parties.
- Prepare the employee file in accordance with policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audit data and set up employee profiles in internal HR systems; assist with the coordination, preparation, and distribution of employee documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain job postings through the applicant tracking system.
- Maintain electronic file system to ensure that information is readily available and accessible.
- Create documents, forms, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office and other tools.
- Attend and conduct meetings in-person in the office or the community, virtually through video (audiovisual), and by phone (voice only) as required.
- Travel off-site as needed for various opportunities including meetings, conferences, activities, and events.
- Assure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served, guests, and staff.
- Participate in and promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for professional growth by current reading and attendance at educational programs and conferences.
- Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures, corporate compliance program, code of ethics, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- At least 2+ years of experience providing support in human resources, onboarding, recruiting, and/or talent acquisition activities.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- General understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
- Ability to format documents and use proper grammar, punctuation, and spell check.
- Ability to analyze information, research issues, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate standard office machines such as photocopiers, faxes, computers, and video/tele-conferencing equipment.
- Ability to understand and value cultural and ethnic differences, their alternatives perspectives, lifestyles, etc.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously.
- Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment with the usual pressures of managing multiple priorities with time constraints.
