Job Summary
Aid in all aspects of recruitment including job postings, applications, applicant tracking, pre-employment testing, orientation, and more. Offer support to employees and supervisors on HR policies and benefits. Coordinate communication materials, conduct research, analyze data, interpret policies, assist with benefit administration, and prepare orientation materials. Manage departmental documents and records, handle backups, and provide support across departments. Work under time constraints and handle high volumes of work, including extended hours. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, applications, and tracking.
- Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies and benefits.
- Coordinate the distribution of communication materials related to benefits.
- Support research and analysis for special projects and reports.
- Interpret, apply, enforce, and maintain company policies and procedures.
- Administer benefits, manage recordkeeping, and facilitate training initiatives.
- Analyze, summarize, and report benefits information.
- Manage departmental documents and records, including copying and filing.
- Prepare and distribute new employee orientation materials and assist with orientation.
- Offer backup support to other departments as needed.
- Handle high volumes of work under time constraints, including extended work hours.
Requirements
- Two to three years of experience in an HR department.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Basic math skills.
- Professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and under time constraints.
- Maintain confidentiality.
