About the Role

A Recruiter performs full life-cycle recruitment duties, focusing on building and maintaining a robust pipeline of cleared professionals across the United States and its territories. This position can be full-time telework.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the hiring needs of assigned hiring manager(s).
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of cleared professionals.
  • Provide advice and guidance to Hiring Managers on recruiting policies, processes, procedures, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to establish diverse and efficient sourcing plans, including sourcing passive applicants and refining strategies as needed.
  • Post requisitions to trade schools, colleges, universities, niche job boards, military transition units, and document outreach activities.
  • Tailor requisitions to market positions effectively to well-qualified job seekers.
  • Develop a pool of well-qualified applicants within established timelines.
  • Determine appropriate pre-screening mechanisms and create digital interviews as needed.
  • Review applicants fairly in accordance with FSA's Data Management technique.
  • Pre-screen applicants and evaluate competencies using discretion and judgment.
  • Update FSA's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in real-time.
  • Interact with job seekers, applicants, and candidates in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide applicants and candidates with insights into job responsibilities, company culture, hours, policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Facilitate the interview process, including scheduling interviews.
  • Initiate the offer process in FSA's ATS.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Hiring Managers to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
  • Provide inputs to staffing reports and updates on aging requisitions.
  • Manage Evergreen positions and maintain a pipeline of qualified applicants for future consideration.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, including virtual career fairs.
  • Stay current with compliance, contractual regulations, and employment laws to ensure recruiting activities adhere to applicable standards.
  • Keep abreast of labor market trends and build a diverse resource network to fill 100% of requisitions within established timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; four-year college degree or equivalent experience in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition preferred.
  • Ability to obtain an AIRS Certification; current valid certification preferred.
  • Five to seven years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
  • Experience in government contracting (required) and with the Service Contract Act (strongly preferred).
  • Knowledge of standard recruitment processes, compliance regulations, and employment laws.
  • Online-savvy with a strong understanding of social media.
  • Proven track record of creatively sourcing cleared candidates and developing recruiting strategies for current and future hiring needs.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging creative sourcing techniques and a personalized approach to engaging passive talent.
  • Strong familiarity with Boolean search operators and x-ray searches.
  • Strong presence on and understanding of LinkedIn and ClearanceJobs.
  • Results-driven with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Successful track record meeting key performance metrics in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems; ADP Recruiting Management preferred.
  • Experience with digital interviewing tools; VidCruiter preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with outreach management.
  • Knowledge of compliance and legal issues related to recruitment and staffing.

Other Requirements

Occasional local and long-distance travel may be required.

Pay

Target salary range: $68,840 - $77,440. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
