Recruiter I

3-month contract with a potential for extension in Columbus, IN. W2 contract; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Pay

$21.00/hr. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. No PTO or benefits.

Schedule

Regular work hours with flexibility to complete 8-hour days.

Responsibilities

• Use computer database, Internet recruiting resources, and cold calls to source candidates
• Interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills
• Prepare and maintain employment records
• Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
• Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations
• Support pipeline management and the conversion to offer process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent training
• 2–4 years of customer service–related experience
• Recruitment experience in either agency and/or in-house (required)
• Great organizational skills

• Required: Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Required: Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work-related activities
• Required: Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training
• Typically required: Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
• Typically required: Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
