About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Recruiter, Communications to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for the Communications function, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to build strong talent pipelines and support strategic hiring decisions. Location: New York City, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting efforts for the Communications team from search initiation to offer acceptance
• Advise leadership on talent acquisition strategies, costs, and competitive landscapes
• Source, engage, and network with top-tier communications professionals, particularly passive candidates
• Maintain high standards in candidate experience and recruitment efficiency
• Provide data-driven insights to guide hiring decisions and prioritize roles

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, especially in senior, hard-to-fill roles
• Experience recruiting for communications, PR, or related roles
• Ability to identify and engage passive candidates through creative channels
• Strong relationship-building skills with senior leaders, supported by data-driven insights
• Detail-oriented writing skills essential for communication with candidates and leaders
• Expertise in managing a streamlined, candidate-respectful hiring process
• Skill in translating hiring data into actionable recommendations
• Passion for AI's positive potential and understanding of its risks

Pay

Compensation: $240,000 – $295,000 annually
