We are looking for a detail-oriented recruiting specialist to support hiring operations for a Financial Services organization in Columbus, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruiting activities from intake through offer stages, helping hiring teams move candidates efficiently through the selection process.
  • Review candidate information, job requisitions, and recruiting records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with internal standards.
  • Maintain data integrity across applicant tracking systems and related hiring tools so reporting and workflow activity remain reliable.
  • Assist with sourcing plans and recruiting strategies that help attract talent with relevant experience for open positions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support hiring processes, provide status updates, and share actionable insights on recruiting progress.
  • Execute administrative and project-based recruiting tasks, including documentation, scheduling support, and process follow-through.
  • Support benefits-related and worker's compensation coordination as needed within the broader hiring and onboarding workflow.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen efficiency, candidate experience, and operational consistency.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition coordination, or a related hiring support role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and confidence working with recruiting data and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of hiring processes, including candidate review, scheduling, and requisition support.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to preserve data accuracy across multiple systems and records.
  • Ability to execute tasks independently while managing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to share insights clearly with recruiters, hiring managers, and support teams.
  • Exposure to sourcing techniques, recruiting strategy support, or workforce planning activities is preferred.
  • Experience in financial services or other regulated environments is an advantage.
