About the role
The Recreational Therapist at Providence PACE provides a variety of therapeutic social, recreational, and diversional events for participants. They conduct individual assessments to identify participants' interests and needs, develop and implement appropriate activities, participate in interdisciplinary care planning, coordinate recreation documentation, assist in training volunteers and interns, and lead facility-wide events.

- Cookordination recreation documentation for assigned group of participants
- Assist in training and supervising volunteers and interns
- Lead facility-wide participant-centered events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Washington Recreational Therapist Registration
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) from National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC)
- 2 years providing recreation with the elderly or disabled
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include 2 years of experience providing recreation with the elderly or disabled.
