Recreational Therapist - PACE
About the role
The Recreational Therapist supports the Gresham and Glendoveer sites, providing therapeutic social, recreational, and diversional events for participants. Duties include conducting individual assessments, developing and implementing activities, participating in interdisciplinary care planning, coordinating documentation, assisting with training volunteers and interns, and leading facility-wide events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual assessments to identify participants' interests and needs
- Develop and implement individual and group activities
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
- Cookordination of recreation documentation for assigned group of participants
- Assist with training and supervising volunteers and interns
- Lead facility-wide participant-centered events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
- 2 years providing recreation with the elderly or disabled
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with the elderly or disabled

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $28.41 - $43.47 per hour. Additional compensation may be available.
Schedule
This position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, day shift.
