Recreational Therapist - Full Time

About the role

We are seeking a Recreational Therapist to provide community-based services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and organize recreational therapy sessions such as adapted sports, arts, dramatics, and social activities, tailored to individual goals.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation, support planning, and follow-up to promote positive outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy.
• Certification from the national council for Recreational Therapy.
• Ability to administer CPR/First Aid.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
