Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Vermont Physical Therapy license required to start the position.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Orthopedic Physical Therapist Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
  • Utilize functional training and clinical manual skills in patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercises.
