About the role
This position is responsible for providing routine, daily treatment activities in a fast-paced acute inpatient psychiatric unit. Incumbents in this position are responsible for working with a variety of adult patients with behavioral health disorders to assist in achieving psychiatric stabilization and return to the community.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation Therapy Certification from an accredited college or university.
- Current National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
- Washington State Registration to practice recreational therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association or Red Cross required to start
- One year experience in psychiatric/mental health setting preferred

- Hourly Union: $37.14-$68.86 depending on experience
- Weekend differential: $1.85
Schedule
- Five 8-hour shifts per week, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm one week, then four 10-hour shifts, 8:30 am - 7:00 pm second week
- Weekends may be included
