Recreation Therapist
Harborview Rehab Therapy has an outstanding opportunity for a Recreation Therapist on a per diem, day-shift basis.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and administer safe Recreational Therapy, including progression of treatment goals and patient/family education.
- Assess and treat a patient caseload ranging from routine to complex patient problems, utilizing training in evaluation and treatment processes.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate continuity of patient care from admission to discharge.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of disease processes, precautions, medical treatments, diagnostic procedures, functional abilities, and complications related to primary diagnoses.
- Provide skilled, timely, and effective patient care, adapting plans based on patient responses.
- Follow protocols, standards, and guidelines of care for specific diagnoses.
- Document interventions, assessments, measurable goals, treatment methods, and home programs per organizational standards.
- Participate in team rounds and provide educational information to patients and support systems.
- Provide home programs and educational materials prior to termination of therapy intervention.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Therapeutic Recreation Program OR equivalent education/experience.

Pay
Pay Range: $37.45 – $53.58 hourly
