About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, organize and direct the implementation of activity/recreation programs in accordance with current state and federal guidelines and regulations, and Company policies and procedures.
- Design programs based on comprehensive assessments, individual interests, and the physical, mental, spiritual, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity and integration of services.
- Adapt programs to meet changing needs and preferences of residents.
Requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience working with an adult population in healthcare settings, delivering activity therapy.
- Flexible with the ability to adapt to change.
- Organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Valid driver’s license, clear DMV record, and insurable under Company's insurance policy.
- Knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college (Nice to have).
- Certification or training in therapeutic recreation (Nice to have).
- Supervisory experience (Nice to have).
- Previous experience in Skilled Nursing environments (Nice to have).
