Recreation Aide

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Recreation Aide to help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging activities and meaningful programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead small and large group recreation activities, including cognitive enrichment, physical fitness, and social engagement programs.
• Assist with planning and running monthly events, festivities, and special celebrations.
• Organize activities based on residents’ individual interests and abilities.
• Ensure resident safety, confidentiality, and dignity at all times.

Requirements

• Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative with a passion for working with the elderly.
• Previous experience with a geriatric/adult population preferred.
• Compassionate, outgoing, and team-oriented personality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Schedule

Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM shifts and every other weekend)

Pay

$16.44 per hour
