Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with recreational activities such as games, arts & crafts, music, fitness, and outings
- Engage participants in a positive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive manner
- Support the planning and execution of daily activity programs
- Communicate effectively with participants, staff, and families in both English and Spanish
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized activity area
- Encourage participation and adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities
- Assist with documentation, attendance, and program feedback
Requirements
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written & verbal)
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with seniors, youth, or individuals with special needs is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and lead group activities
- Must pass background check and any required health screenings
Pay
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Depending on experience and shift
