Recreation Advisor
What you will be doing:
- Monitor, plan, and direct students engaged in center-sponsored recreational activities both on and off center.
- Teach healthy and fun extracurricular activities using your fun and creative skills.
- Avoid chaperoning students to recreation functions both on and off center.
- Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.
- Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center.

Responsibilities:
- Assist recreation supervisor/coordinator in planning, implementing and coordinating a comprehensive and diversified program which will attract voluntary participation.
- Organize, direct, and oversee student participation in a variety of recreation/avocation activities and extended day learning activities.
- Plan, implement and coordinate a diversified program that will attract voluntary participation.
- Chaperone students to recreation functions both on and off center.
- Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.
- Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year experience working with youth required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Computer proficiency.
Skills:

Pay:
$18.50 per hour.
Schedule:
Varies, Part Time, 4 hr. shift. Monday - Thursday: 5pm-10pm, Friday: 5pm-11pm, Saturday: Shifts scheduled between 11am-11pm, Sunday, Holidays & Professional Development Day: Shifts scheduled between 11am-10pm.
