About the role

Wage - $17.20 per hour
Schedule – Varies, 32 hours per week
MTC is proud to operate the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV where our staff provide quality services to our local youth.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, plan, and direct students engaged in center sponsored activities both on and off center.
• Teach healthy and fun extracurricular activities using your fun and creative skills.
• Plan and conduct various activities to enhance student retention and meet all students' needs.
• Participate in Career Development Services System (CDSS) by creating positive peer leadership and role modeling techniques through activities both on and off center.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience working with youth required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.
• A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with youth.

Skills

Essential skills include excellent written and verbal communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to engage and lead youth effectively.
