Recovery Support Staff - Part Time

About the role

Seeking compassionate Adult Residential Support Professionals to join a trauma-informed recovery program for adult women recovering from substance use disorders, including mothers with infants.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in their recovery journey with daily encouragement and structure
• Monitor and document resident well-being and administer medications per policy
• Assist with meal prep, housekeeping, and daily living tasks
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
• Transport residents to appointments and activities
• Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed
• Facilitate educational and life skills activities
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
• Coursework in social work, psychology, or related fields is a plus
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• DHS 83 training preferred (can be completed after hire)
• Some local travel may be necessary

Pay

$17.75/hour for 2nd shift hours, including every other weekend.
