Recovery Support Professional - No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents working toward recovery.
• Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development.
• Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation.
• Administer medications and respond to emergencies appropriately.
• Transport residents and collect urine specimens or administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
• Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
• Participate in trainings and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; must meet driving requirements.
• Completion of DHS training post-hire may be required.
