About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Adult Residential Support Professional to assist residents in a residential addiction treatment program for adult men.
Responsibilities
- Supporting, monitoring, and serving as a positive role model for residents
- Assisting with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintaining confidential client records and completing documentation
- Administering medications and responding to emergencies appropriately
- Transporting residents to appointments and community activities
- Collecting urine specimens and administering breathalyzer tests as needed
- Leading educational groups and supporting residents in achieving treatment goals
- Attending trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred and meeting driving requirements
- Completion of DHS training post-hire if required
