Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support to residents in a residential addiction treatment program, encouraging recovery and sobriety.
- Assist with daily living activities, meals, housekeeping, and life skills.
- Support residents through monitoring, encouragement, and serving as a positive role model.
- Complete documentation and maintain confidential records.
- Administer medications and respond to emergencies appropriately.
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Attend trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required; experience in human services or behavioral health preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license preferred, with the ability to meet driving requirements.
- Willingness to complete DHS training post-hire.
Schedule
Part-time, 1st shift, every Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
