About the role
The Adult Residential Support Professional role involves providing support, supervision, and positive role modeling to residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific recovery program for adult women, including those with infants.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with medication monitoring and administration
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Preparing meals and light housekeeping
- Supporting daily living skills and treatment goals
- Responding to emergencies and crises
- Transporting residents to appointments and community resources
- Collecting urine samples and administering breathalyzer tests
- Attending staff meetings and training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Additional requirements
- DHS 83 training (preferred or to be completed after hire)
- Local travel (approximately 25–50%) based on program needs
