Recovery Support Navigator

About the role

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. The Community Based Recovery Support (CBRS) program offers additional support to individuals as they transition back into their communities after treatment.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with alcohol/drug dependent clients from diverse backgrounds
• Maintain healthy boundaries and confidentiality
• Use basic office skills and computer programs
• Ensure timely contact with Program Director/Authorities in emergencies
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings
• Provide client-centered case management services
• Coordinate with HPTC outpatient units and external providers
• Investigate and develop community contacts
• Enhance and ensure quality care through cooperation with other agencies

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and adhere to a team approach
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in HPTC’s electronic medical record
• Knowledge of confidentiality policies and motivational interviewing techniques
• Valid driver’s license and car ownership (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant lived experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field
• Case management experience preferred

Pay

$28.20 - $31/hour (dependent on experience)

Schedule

Full-time, 8am - 4:30pm shift
