Requirements
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively with alcohol/drug dependent clients from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain healthy boundaries
- Knowledge of appropriate confidentiality policies and procedures
- Basic office skills: phone, fax machine, copy machine, filing
- Strong and effective verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and software proficiency, including learning and using HPTC's electronic medical record
Responsibilities
- Compliance with Federal Regulations, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients
- Working knowledge of HPTC policies and program procedures
- Maintain safety and security of client/staff at all times
- Attend mandatory trainings, staff meetings, and supervision meetings
- Provide client-centered case management CSP services
- Coordinate with HPTC outpatient units for client education/approvals
- Utilize Motivational Interviewing and Recovery Coaching
- Accurately document and submit weekly schedule
- Investigate and develop community contacts and cooperative networks
- Cooperate with other health and social service agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or lived experience of substance abuse and recovery
- Valid driver's license and car ownership (preference given to those with at least one year of related job experience)
