Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, mentor, and provide ongoing training for recovery specialists, ensuring they meet organizational standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of services to ensure that the needs of clients are met, and outcomes are positive.
- Build a positive and supportive team environment, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.
- Ensure records are accurate and complete as related to client services, program activities, and staff performance.
- Ensure that all staff and services adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement solutions to problems related to client care, programming, or staffing.
- Provide support and guidance to staff to enhance performance and ensure job satisfaction.
- Assist and facilitate in the planning and execution of program activities.
- Hire new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent related experience
- Minimum 3-5+ years previous experience in supervision, training and coaching
- Valid Drivers License required
- Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality protocol
- Strong professional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of addiction treatment and recovery principles
- Strong desire to collaborate, support & promote a positive team environment
- Understanding of peer support models and ethics
- Experience in providing direct services to individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, stakeholders, personality types
- Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and accreditation standards
